I live in a house that is really humid and honestly we couldn't survive without this thing. It's a great way to keep your air clean in your house. It does an excellent job of pulling stuff like dog dandruff out of the air and makes your whole place smell nice and clean and crisp and not dirty like an old hippie.
You can easily pay 5 times this for a good dehumidifier. This one does as good a job as those without the insane prices. If you need a dehumidifier, this frigidaire is really top notch. I have no complaints at all, and we've used it for over a year straight. Great option for families on a budget like us.
I bought this dehumidifier to replace the last one I had, and I'm not disappiointed. We have a really weird bathroom that just gets really humid all the time, nothing seems to truly dry out. Once I put this sucker in there, everything was great. I highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation whether it be there basement or kitchen or what have you. I really love the fact you can set the humidity level, so you don't have to 100% remove the humidity in the air, but you can selectively set a level that matches your comfort. It's a perfect humidifier for the price, you really can't go wrong with it for under $200 bones.
I bought this a few months back, and I wish it had a few improvements that would really make it way better. It's nice looking, but the stainless steel is not the greatest for going in something like your living room. It would be nice if it was slightly different in that regard. I also wish the cord was longer. 6' is long, but it could be way longer honestly. Would be nice to put it in my bathroom but plug it in out in the hall.
