This is a good quality printer for the price you pay. Is it the best printer ever? No! Is it the best printer ever for under $100, quite possibly yes! This Canon Pixma prints out color photos and does a great job of it. In fact, it even does the photos in really high quality HD. The phones I print can look exactly like they do on my camera without any problems at all. I would definitely get this printer before I would waste a lot of money on more expensive ones. We all know the real costs are in the ink, so why waste a ton of money on the printer and on the ink. Just get a nice cheap printer, and keep your expenses low!
Let me first start off by saying I pretty much agree with Tom Wells review up above here. One thing I'd like to point out though, the ink this company and hell any of them sells is just highway robbery. Why is it so expensive. This printer would be absolutly amazing if ink wasn't 50 bucks a refill. But you know what, they all do it. There is no way to get cheaper ink. You just gotta take it from the ink cartels I guess if you want to print.
This printer is very good. It's is a bit slow to get started if you've had it completely turned off, but when it's up and running it prints excellent quality images. For less than $100 how can you really go wrong. It's pretty good for the price, that's for sure.
This printer was real easy to put together and to set up in my home office. I just plugged it into my pc, and I was up and running with the software in no time flat. I can now print wirelessly from my android smartphone and also from my laptop over wifi. It's fast, and it prints pictures and documents in high quality. Good experience so far hands down.
The Canon MG5220 is a great printer that was easy to setup. The ink is pricy, but it's pricy with all printers so that's not really saying much is it. It's a great value for the money but obviously you don't get what you would out of $3000 printers. If you just want to print some photos and documents and have them look crisp and sharp, than this is the printer for you if you're on a budget.
